Release date & price

OnePlus 9 series is rumored to arrive in March this year. We don’t know everything at the time of writing this article, but a lot of things have been leaked/rumored so far. To start the price for the base model should start at $800 while the pro version will start at $900.

Specifications

Display

OnePlus 9 should come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED Display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. This incredible display has a huge display color spectrum of 16M colors and features a 120HZ refresh rate. On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro is tipped to come with a 6.78-inch display having a QHD+ resolution. Pro version will have 120HZ curved screen. Both of the phones will have some kind of Corning Gorilla Glass, and we expect it to be Gorilla Glass 6.

Camera

Both of the phones are expected to have a triple rear camera setup: 50MP main camera, 20MP ultra-wide camera, and 12MP telephoto camera with OIS support. We expect those cameras to be capable of 4k video shooting at least 60fps. About the front, we don’t know much about the selfie camera but we do now that it’s a single punch-hole selfie camera.

Configuration

These incredible smartphones will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the strongest chipset available on the market. This incredible chipset is paired with Adreno 660 GPU for the best graphical performance. Both OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. If you buy the base model you can choose between 128GB / 256GB of storage. On the other hand, the Pro version comes with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. We don’t expect OnePlus to include storage expanding through an SD card so choose wisely when it comes to memory.

Battery Capacity

OnePlus 9 series will be equipped with a huge 4500 mAh battery, which considering the specifications of those incredible smartphones will last you around a day. Both of them are most likely to support 65W fast charging, and the Pro version is said to support 45W wireless charging as well.

AnTuTu Benchmark

AnTuTu Benchmark is the best way to define how powerful a telephone is. It gives your phone a numerical score based on its specifications. People use it for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other cell phones on the market. According to pieces of information from AnTuTu Benchmark Leaks, OnePlus 9 series got a score of around 730k which means it’s better than 99% of the phone currently available on the market.
